Suitable for:
Subject to Section 19 (Risk Assessment) of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005 and Chapter 4 (Manual Handling) of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work General Applications 2007 any persons who, as part of their routine activities or as part of their job, has to carry, lift, pull or push loads are required to undergo formal Manual Handling training.

This course is designed to ensure that learners understand the legal requirements associated with Manual Handling. The training will include practical skills to perform correct lifting techniques. Learners will also understand the limitations of the musculoskeletal system and realise the consequences of incorrect carrying, lifting, pulling and pushing.
